In order to preserve material and make it more accessible to others, small groups regularly take on the task of transcribing archives and gravestone inscriptions, much of which is published. Please see our Publications Page for a complete list. Following the completion of the Ayrshire Burials, we have recently completed Part 1 of Prestwick Shaw road Cemetery as well as Dankeith Cemetery. Work is ongoing with the production of the Ayrshire News transcriptions as compiled by the late Troon Historian, Walter White Clearie, and we anticipate two further volumes being available later this year.
